ISM / ISPS COMPLIANCE
The Safety and Security of the Owner, their Family, Guests and Crew are paramount as well and the yacht itself. The Safety and Security Compliance is maintained through stringent observance of International Maritime Organization Rules and Regulations, such as International Safety Management Code (ISM) and the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS). Our duties, here at Vision Yacht Management is to ensure that all our vessels comply with the requirements of the Flag State, Class Society and IMO.
- Comply with mandatory rules and regulations as required by ISM / ISPS Code.
- Continuous improvement of Safety Management System (SMS) and Ship Security Plan (SSP), by and for shore and shipboard personnel.
- Reviewing the Safety Management System (SMS) and Ship Security Plan (SSP) at regular intervals to verify overall effectiveness of the system, if is achieving stated objectives.
- Provide Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and Company Security Officer (CSO), as well as deputies, who are available 24 hours per day, seven days a week for any kind of situation that may arise.
- Recommend a PMS Software that organizes and maintains effectively all the vessel documents, planned maintenance tasks, inventories, spare parts and crew list, as well as ISM management documents and forms centralized in a secure system.
- Perform Internal Audits and provides report to ensure the vessel is meeting all Flag State and Classification Society regulation and requirements, as well as the Company ISM and ISPS protocols
